Travis has worked as a Physician Assistant since 2014. He enjoys Family Medicine because it allows him to develop a close rapport and relationship with his patients. He believes this relationship is important to help encourage and motivate patients in their overall health management.

Travis’ goal as a provider is to offer high quality patient care to patients, and to be a strong asset to the medical team that he is working with. As a Physician’s Assistant, Travis is able to offer many of the same services as a family physician including performing wellness exams and diagnosing and treating illnesses including upper respiratory tract infections, flu, UTIs, and seasonal allergies. He is also able to help patients manage a wide variety of chronic conditions including diabetes.

Getting to Know Travis Hardin, PA-C:

When not working, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. They love the outdoors and spend a lot of time hiking and fishing. Travis also loves hunting, kayaking, and working in his garden. Travis has always dreamed of living in the mountains. His family would spend a lot of time in the mountains hiking and fishing when he was growing up. He looks forward to embracing the mountain lifestyle and enjoying the beauty and fun of Blue Ridge.
